Update 4 / Chop Process Part 3 : This update deals with the top reassembly process. Specifically, the completion of the "A" pillars and the addition of the filler piece to elongate the roof slightly to align the "B" pillars. At this point, the appropriate 2" of material have been removed from both the "A" and "B" pillars and both are tacked in place.
Before work is started to complete the "A" pillars, the filler piece will be added to the roof for stability. The oversize filler piece is clamped in place (see update 3 for more details).
Before finalizing the size of the filler piece, the contour is checked. The filler piece is then scribed from the back side, trimmed and tacked in place. See next photo.
